My name is Candice Oates and I’m a graphic designer, because "eating too much peanut butter" is not yet a recognized profession. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, which means I’ve owned my own cornhole boards and developed a Pavlovian tic to the phrase “O-H.” When I’m not counting pixels and adjusting anchor points, I’m probably scoping out the best place for a taco, loving my cat too much, or hitting up the Columbus improv scene.
I graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design in December of 2015 with a BA in Advertising and Graphic Design, but I've been in the art game since I could pick up a crayon. I've always been a dabbler in all things 2D, and when I discovered the world of graphic design I realized that I had found something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I may be stuck at a whopping 5'1", but I'm constantly growing as a designer and I never settle for anything less than the best I can do.
